NEW – DUPLEX FOR RESIDENTIAL HEAT RECOVERY
Specialists in Air Movement, Airflow have introduced DUPLEXVENT, a new heat recovery system for family homes and blocks of flats and apartments.
Slim and compact, three air performance sizes are offered up to 550 m3/hr to suit a broad range of dwellings. Using innovative counterflow heat exchanger technology up to 80% heat recovery efficiency is possible.
Improving the indoor climate in increasingly tightly sealed dwellings is becoming an important factor for the well being of both the occupants and the fabric of the building.
DUPLEXVENT recovers warmth from the extract air that would usually be lost, filters it and returns it into the building mixed with incoming fresh air. The two speed fan can boost air flow rates 'on demand' or by programmed control. Quiet and energy efficient using low power fans. DUPLEXVENT provides a solution to reducing moisture within wet rooms and with a choice of in-line filters can help to reduce the effects of air borne pollutants within the dwelling.
In summer DUPLEXVENT can help with cooling by implementing the optional 'By-Pass' mode.
A range of controls are available from simple humidity sensing through to CO2 sensors for increased ventilation during periods of high occupancy.
Simple and lightweight to install, the modular design is easily accessible saving the installer time and can be mounted in any orientation allowing placement in cupboards and loft spaces.
